GARDEN RECOGNITION PROJECT

The BHNA was created to provide an organized framework to enhance the quality of life within the Bluemound Heights neighborhood in Milwaukee- elevating and promoting the image of the neighborhood, creating a safe living environment, and encouraging neighbors to promote a sense of pride and identity among the residents.

In effort to further this goal, the BHNA has created the Garden Recognition committee. We’d like to let neighbors know that we appreciate their contribution to making our neighborhood great with their gorgeous garden. We know that it takes a lot of hard work and patience to achieve such an impressive and inspiring display. And we would like to thank you them for their dedication. You make our neighborhood a better place to live.

Look for the BHNA yard signs to see who we've honored. And send us an email with your nominations.

We often get questions about how people can make a donation to support BHNA.  While paying your membership fee is enough to keep the Association going, we do appreciate additional donations to help us make further improvements to the neighborhood.  In recent years, thanks to your support, we have built new picnic tables for the Community Garden, purchased a party tent to be used at large community gatherings, and invested in this website which increased communication capabilities.
