A Message from the BHNA Board
July 14, 2020
IMPORTANT NEIGHBORHOOD EVENT UPDATES:
July & August are typically our busiest months for BHNA. We have evaluated each event on its own and have decided to cancel or change several of them. To the right you will find important announcements about each of our upcoming events.
We will make determinations about fall events such as Oktoberfest and Trick-or-Treating closer to those scheduled dates. If you have suggestions about activities we can safely host as a neighborhood during this challenging time, we would love to hear them!
Please let us know if you have any questions.
~ Your BHNA Board
July 16 & August 20 @ 6:30pm
Third Thursdays at the Community Garden
(63rd & Stevenson)
Still proceeding as scheduled. Please check the event page or Facebook for important safety information, including a mandatory mask wearing policy for attendees.
Annual Summer Pub Crawl *Canceled*
We will not be hosting our annual summer pub crawl to neighborhood bars and restaurants this year. Please continue to support our local establishments safely by following their protocols and utilizing their takeout services as appropriate!
Virtual Date TBD
August Bluemound Heights Block Watch Meeting
We are working with local representatives and law enforcement to provide updates to the neighborhood in a virtual manner, either through email or video. Stay tuned for more info. If you have specific questions you would like addressed or ideas about how we can bring together the neighborhood in a virtual manner, please let us know before Friday, July 24.
Summer Neighborhood Festival *Canceled*
We have made the tough decision to cancel this year's neighborhood festival. This was a terribly difficult decision to make as a board and we waited as long as possible before announcing a final decision. However, due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, we felt we needed to air on the side of caution. We hope that 2021 will be our biggest and best festival yet and truly cannot wait to get together as a neighborhood again!
